You can disable this function at any time in your Google account advertisement settings or prohibit the collection of your data by Google Analytics as described under “Opposition to data collection”.

Google Analytics Remarketing (DoubleClick)

Our websites use the functions of Google Analytics Remarketing in conjunction with the cross-device capabilities of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA

This function allows the advertising audience lists built by Google Analytics Remarketing to be associated with the cross-device features of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. This means that personalised, interest-focused advertising messages tailored to you as a result of your previous user and surfing habits on one device (e.g. your mobile phone) will also be displayed on any other of your devices (e.g. your tablet or PC).

If you have consented to this, Google associates your web and app browsing history with your Google account. In that case, the same personalised advertising messages are posted to every device you log on to using your Google account.

To support this feature, Google Analytics collects Google-authenticated identifiers which are temporarily associated with our Google Analytics data to define and build audience lists for cross-device advertising.

You can oppose cross-device remarketing/targeting permanently by disabling personalised advertising in your Google account. To do so, click on this link: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/.

This data is only joined to your Google account with your consent, which you can either grant or withdraw (Article 6 (1 f) DSGVO). Data that is not joined to your Google account (e.g. because you do not have a Google account or have opposed it) is collected on the basis of Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The valid interest arises from the fact that the website operator has an interest in the anonymous analysis of website visitors for advertising purposes.

You will find further information and the data privacy provisions in Google's privacy statement at: https://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads/.

Google AdWords and Google conversion tracking

This website uses Google AdWords. AdWords is an online advertising programme belonging to Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, United States (“Google”).

As part of Google AdWords, we use something called conversion tracking. When you click on an ad delivered by Google, a conversion tracking cookie is set. Cookies are small text files that your Internet browser stores on your computer. These cookies expire after 30 days and can no longer be used to personally identify the user. If a user visits certain pages on this website before the cookie has expired, we and Google can see that the user has clicked on the advertisement and was forwarded to this page.

Every Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers. The information collected with the aid of conversion cookies are used to draw up conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers are notified of the total number of users who have clicked on their ad and were forwarded to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they receive no information allowing users to be personally identified. If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can oppose it by simply disabling the Google conversion tracking cookie in the user settings of your Internet browser. In that case, you will not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.

The conversion cookies are stored pursuant to Article 6 (1 f) of the DSGVO (German data protection regulation). The website owner has a valid interest in analysing user behaviour, to optimise both the web offering and the advertising.

You will find further information about Google AdWords and Google conversion tracking in Google's privacy statement at: https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/.
